.The elderly woman fulfilled her dream of living in Israel but was suddenly told she couldn’t have a caregiver

A 95-year old woman with the assistance of her family moved to Israel after the death of her husband. When the family tried to get her a caregiver from companies assisting the elderly, they were told they could not provide a caregiver to anyone who wasn’t an Israeli citizen.
The family turned to our organization for help. We told them what documents to bring along with a report of her medical state of health to get a permit from the Population and Migration Authority’s Caregivers License Dept. After following our instructions, the family received their permit for a caregiver and were able to provide their elderly mother with the assistance she needed to live out her last days in the Holy Land.
