F. family had to travel abroad for medical treatments.
Registration for municipal kindergartens would only begin during the period they would be abroad. The regulation concerning parents who are foreign citizens is that the parents must be present when registering their children.
Since the parents wouldn’t be in the country at that time, they asked Israeli Shortcut to help out and represent them before the Dept. for Registering Children.
After they were contacted, the Dept. agreed to make an exception in this case and allow early registration.
The parents were thrilled to know that their child was accepted to kindergarten for the following year, and this undoubtedly added to their peace of mind when they went abroad for their treatment.
